FotoLab Workshops, established by Tizoc Zamora and Angelica Saucedo in August 2022 at Art Space HP, offers a series of studio photography classes designed to foster community through creativity. Our mission is to support BIPOC and other marginalized artists by providing studio space, models, and expert educators at minimal-to-no cost. By doing so, we aim to help artists enhance their professional skills and broaden their knowledge in a supportive and inclusive environment.
FotoLab Workshops is currently collaborating with Intersect Crenshaw Studios for our summer series of classes.
As South East Los Angeles’ (SELA) first photography festival, Fotolandia is dedicated to fostering equity in the arts, particularly for BIPOC creators, with an emphasis on photography. Out mission is to dismantle systemic barriers, providing access to resources, opportunities, and support for marginalized artists.
Fotolandia is a part of the California Creative Corps, which is generously supported by the California Arts Council and Administered by Community Partners.
